HBC Universal is a fully formulated, inhibited ethylene glycol used as a heavy-duty industrial coolant, heat transfer agent, and antifreeze meeting specifications for heavy duty engines. The inhibitor system includes a precharge of Supplemental Coolant Additives (SCA) designed to protect metals commonly found in cooling and heating systems. Special inhibitors designed to reduce cavitation corrosion in wet sleeve liner applications are included.

HBC Universal is recommended as a universal coolant for heavy-duty engines in applications such as natural gas processing, drilling, trucks, farm equipment, power generating systems, oilfield operations, and portable air compressors. HBC Universal protects cooling systems from freezing in winter, overheating in summer, and corrosion in all seasons. HBC Universal is commonly used I aqueous dilutions from 20 to 50% by volume.
