There are many challenges that are involved in the delivery of production chemicals in deep-water applications. Many of these challenges place various limitations on the formulation of the production chemicals. Understanding of these limitations is critical in assuring the integrity of these products. All Coastal Chemical UmbilaGuard (UBG) products undergo an extensive multi-process Quantum Certification to ensure the efficacy and integrity of the products. The Quantum Certification mirrors the recommended standards outlined in the API 17A-TR6 document based on the findings of the Blockage Avoidance in Subsea Injection and Control Systems (BASICS) Joint Industry Project (JIP). In addition to Quantum Certification, the UBG product line is subjected to intense internal QA/QC audits to guarantee the traceability and integrity of all the product back to its origination.
